Channel Negotiations: Nexstar Media Group

Keep the
channels: Requires an immediate rate increase of +$4.00/month this year, followed by an additional +$1.50/month next year , and another +$1.50/month the year after that (excluding any future increases from other programmers).
Drop the
channels: Allows us to lower your monthly bill by -$10.00/month .

Our carriage agreement with Nexstar Media Group is expiring. Nexstar is demanding steep, compounding rate increases without genuine negotiation. As a non-profit cooperative, we cannot justify their asking price, nor can we set a dangerous precedent that encourages other corporate broadcasters to demand similar spikes.

Here is where things stand for your monthly bill:

NewsNation: Channel 36

(Note: FOX 8 and WBNX remain available for free over the air using a standard digital antenna, as well as through free streaming apps).
